EU Days Lund is a yearly open forum for dialogue and exchange of ideas concerning the future of Europe and Sweden. This year’s forum takes place on 14–15 November in Lund City Hall. During the EU Days Lund representatives from the public sector, industry, academia and EU institutions come together with students and the general public to network and exchange insights.
This year common societal challenges in Europe will be discussed in terms of how they affect society and business in Skåne and wider in Sweden, but also in relation to how we contribute to the future of Europe. Mobile Heights will also co-host a session addressing the tech skills shortage in Europe – see details below.
EU Days Lund 2023 is organised by the City of Lund, Lund University, the European Commission Representation in Sweden, and Europe Direct Lund in collaboration with several co-organisers – including Clusters of Sweden. Participation is free of charge.

The shortage of specialists and workers with a STEM background hampers not only business growth and innovation but also the steady pace of the digital and green transitions in the EU. During this session, we will discuss with representatives from the industry, academia, and the public sector the necessary measures to sustainably address the growing tech gap in the EU in the short and long term.
